Our Low Moisture Permeability TPU Film is specially designed for down jacket manufacturers. Down jackets are different from other types of outerwear because they contain lightweight down filling. If the film is too heavy or too stiff, it can reduce the garment's natural loft and softness. To solve this problem, we developed a film that is both lightweight and flexible.
After lamination, the down jacket retains its puffy appearance and soft hand feel. The garment feels almost the same as one without a film layer. This Low Moisture Permeability TPU Film features a low-transparency matte finish. Since most down jacket fabrics are thin, a glossy film may show through the fabric surface. Our matte finish minimizes light reflection and helps preserve the original appearance of the garment.
