Product Overview: Designed for Oil Glue Lamination
Our PU Adhesive Coated TPU Film is specifically designed for oil-based adhesive lamination processes. Oil-based adhesive lamination differs from hot-melt bonding because it uses solvent-based adhesives. This process requires a specially treated film surface to ensure optimal bonding performance.
We have treated the surface of this film to allow adhesives to spread evenly during lamination. This helps prevent adhesive accumulation and ensures a smooth, uniform coating. This PU Adhesive Coated TPU Film is available in two surface options: a low-transparency matte finish and a low-transparency matte SC finish. For most oil-based adhesive applications, the standard matte finish performs very well because the adhesive itself already provides strong bonding strength.
Key Data: Thicker Film for Solvent Resistance
For oil-based adhesive lamination, we recommend selecting a thicker film. Solvents in the adhesive may soften TPU materials during processing, and a thicker film offers better resistance to these effects. The table below shows the waterproof performance data.

Why Choose This Film: Solvent Resistant and Certified
Our PU Adhesive Coated TPU Film is formulated with a solvent-resistant composition. The film will not swell, become sticky, or lose its physical properties when exposed to common solvents such as xylene or methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). We have verified this through in-house testing. After soaking the film in solvent for 24 hours and allowing it to dry, we observed no significant changes in size, strength, or appearance.
This film is also certified to GRS and OEKO-TEX standards. The material supports recycling initiatives and meets the environmental and safety requirements of many European and North American buyers.
