Foggy Hot Melt Film

Our Foggy Hot Melt Film is designed specifically for hot-press bonding applications. Unlike regular adhesive films, its hot-melt layer is highly uniform. We use specialized coating equipment to control the adhesive thickness precisely. This ensures there are no areas with excessive or insufficient glue, resulting in a more consistent bonding effect.

This Foggy Hot Melt Film has two surface options: a low-transparency matte finish and a low-transparency matte SC finish. The SC version has a lower-friction surface, making it suitable for garments that require a smoother, more slippery hand feel, such as sportswear.

Key Data: Waterproofing That Stays Strong

The hot-melt adhesive layer does not reduce the waterproof performance of this film. The adhesive layer and TPU base are fully integrated, preventing water penetration between layers. The table below shows the performance data.

The biggest advantage of our Foggy Hot Melt Film is that it requires no drying time. With liquid adhesives, application is followed by a drying stage, which takes time and slows production. In addition, if solvents are not fully evaporated, the finished product may develop an unpleasant odor.

Our hot-melt film is solid at room temperature and bonds through heat activation. It melts when heated and solidifies upon cooling, with no solvent evaporation involved. As a result, there is no odor at all. This is especially valued by export customers, as international buyers have strict requirements regarding smell. Our film uses polyurethane hot-melt adhesive and maintains strong bonding performance even after repeated washing.
