Product Overview: Medium Transparency for a Misty Look
Our TPU Hot Melt Film features medium transparency and is not fully clear. It is semi-transparent with a light matte finish. We refer to this as medium transparency matte PH. At this level, the film partially blocks the color of the backing fabric but does not fully conceal it. As a result, the finished garment achieves a soft, misty, and slightly dreamy visual effect.
This TPU Hot Melt Film is designed to balance waterproof performance and breathability. Many outdoor garments need to block rain while also allowing moisture vapor from sweat to escape. This film effectively achieves both functions. Breathability is tested using two different standards: the U.S. standard, which typically produces lower values, and the Japanese standard, which yields significantly higher values.
