Product Overview: A Thick White Hot Melt Film
Our Membrana TPU Waterproof is a thicker version of our white hot-melt film. The nominal thickness is 0.018 mm, while the actual thickness ranges from 0.016 to 0.020 mm. This grade is designed for light-colored garments that require very strong bonding performance, such as white down jackets that must withstand 50 wash cycles, or light-colored workwear exposed to frequent rubbing and pulling.
This Membrana TPU Waterproof features a medium-transparency white matte finish. It provides strong bonding performance while maintaining the clean white appearance required for light-colored garments.

Why Choose This Film: Stronger Bonds with Polyurethane Glue
The bond strength of a hot-melt film is closely related to its thickness. A thicker film provides a thicker adhesive layer, which results in stronger bonding performance. The thickness range of 0.016–0.020 mm delivers significantly higher bond strength compared to the 0.010–0.012 mm range, which becomes especially noticeable in wash durability testing.
Our Membrana TPU Waterproof uses polyurethane hot-melt adhesive, which offers excellent resistance to washing and high temperatures. It is also suitable for applications requiring high-heat sterilization, such as medical products. The film can withstand steam sterilization at 120°C without delamination.
